CentOS(Linux)のDVDイメージファイルをダウンロードしてみました。
最初は転送速度が遅いのですが、どんどん速度が上がっていき、平均2000kB/s程度でました。

しばらく見ていると･･･

こんな感じ
GB越えのLinuxのDVDイメージをダウンロードするには最適っぽいです。
